Pre-requirement NONE. This certification (SCEA) is along one of many alternative paths for anyone who wants to be a real J2EE architect no matter what background s/he has! YES, YOU CAN make it and feel it is not that difficult if you put considerable effort into it and really start to consider the J2EE architecture issues. Generally speaking, don't think it is easy to pass without intellegence and sweat (not including exceptions such as strong professional background, luck, or genius...) NOTE: a real J2EE architect never need take any tests to prove s/he is an architect. Tests are only for the people on the path to the destination. Since these tests (such as scea test and other more in the real life) not only can motivate people and provide great learning opportunities but also are a ruler to messure how close to the aim. Now let's start!
